Sites that sell the company before the first call.

Diagram: desktop and mobile website layouts on one 12-column grid

Your website is the first meeting. Most buyers have already read it before they ever talk to you. If it loads slow, reads vague or breaks on a phone, you lost the meeting.

I build sites from the data up. Heatmaps and analytics first, structure second, visuals third. Then we track what happens after launch.

The situation

  • Nautical Boat Club ran a ten-year-old WordPress site that didn’t work on mobile, where most of the traffic was.
  • Prefare, a Denver meal-kit company, took 11 seconds before first paint.
  • The nav has twelve links and the page has no single job.

What changes

  • +125% in form submissions and phone calls after Nautical Boat Club’s new site launched in January 2024.
  • One job per page. Every page has one primary action and the nav gets out of the way.
  • Measured. Analytics, heatmaps and conversion tracking set up before launch, not after.

What’s included

  • Website design and build: design, copy structure and a Webflow build your team can edit.
  • Wireframes: structure before style, so the content is right before the pixels are.
  • Landing pages, analytics setup, conversion tracking, and SEO basics: titles, descriptions, schema and alt text.

How it runs

Research. Analytics, Microsoft Clarity heatmaps and a section-by-section read of the top three competitors. If all three do it, we probably should too.

Create. Wireframes, then design, then a Webflow build. Mobile first, because that is where the traffic is.

Results. Launch with tracking in place. Read the numbers at 30 days and fix what they say.

“Andy’s creative efforts have elevated every aspect of our marketing with clean imagery and engaging website design.”
— Alex McLaughlin, Nautical Boat Club

Questions

What platform do you build on?

Usually Webflow. Your team can edit pages and CMS content without a developer, and the sites load fast.

Do you write the copy?

I write the structure and the headlines, and work with your team on the details. The words matter as much as the design.

Can you fix our existing site instead of rebuilding it?

Sometimes. We start with the data. If speed, structure or tracking is the problem, a fix can beat a rebuild.

If the company is better than it looks, let’s talk.
